We were just seeking clarification today from the Privacy Commission about the 13 Privacy Principles as per the Privacy Act 2020. Currently it is still unclear for many of our clients how many Principles there actually are on the Privacy Commission website as they still refer to to the 12 Privacy Principles.
Having just spoken again to the Privacy Commission we would like to clarify that there are 13 Principles (as per the act) and that the Privacy Commission will update this once the act becomes law.
